Tomb Raider Sells 1M Units in 48 Hours - News

The news was announced by an administrator on the Eidos forums. This is the fastest selling Tomb Raider title to reach one million units sold.
"TR9 sales hits 1 million after < 48 hours!" read the thread title of the post.
The game nearly reached 250,000 pre-orders at retail in the US according to VGChartz. The Xbox 360 version of the game reached 136,873 pre-orders, while the PlayStation 3 version managed 107,112 pre-orders.
Tomb Raider is a reboot to the series and is currently available for the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC. The title was developed by Crystal Dynamics and published by Square Enix.
