Grats to KT and Nintendo for this achievement!
Really cool Game, perfect game to play in splitscreen with someone who finished Zelda BotW too. (Online doesn't say: but you need to finish the first mission to unlock Coop mode).
Awesome, well deserved and also great that Koei Tecmo continue to provide further sales updates.
But how would it have done if it had been named Hyrule Warriors: Breath of the Wild? Would K-T have fallen victim to the Wild curse?
Crazy that a musou spinoff of Zelda is able to sell 4 millions now when the main titles used to sell around that. Botw 2 will probably break records and be Nintendo's fastest selling game of all time, beating pokemon in it's first weeks. I feel like it won't top 20 millions because it's a sequel releasing late in the Switch's life cycle but it will sell incredibly fast.
