Worldwide Hardware Estimates for May 31 to June 6 - Switch Top Seller, PS4 and Xbox One Sales Jump - Sales
by William D'Angelo , posted on 11 June 2020 / 3,656 ViewsThe Nintendo Switch was the best-selling console worldwide with 296,714 consoles sold for the week ending June 6, according to VGChartz estimates.
The PlayStation 4 was the second best-selling console with sales of 200,725 consoles sold. This was followed by the Xbox One with 66,319 units, and the Nintendo 3DS with 6,719 units.
Nintendo Switch sales compared to the same week a year ago are up 106,286 units (55.81%). The PlayStation 4 is down 32,436 units (-13.91%), the Xbox One is up 8,676 units (15.05%), and the 3DS is down 12,987 units (-65.90%).

On the hardware by date section would it be a ton of work to add oceania as another region, I mean I've only been reading these charts for three years, but I seem to remember Oceania always appearing.
Sales show shortages and not demand imo.
I would be inclined to agree with you, if it weren't for the fact that sales naturally taper off for the switch and hit their lowest in the june-july stretch. Though when considering how the % up YoY went from 60 to 40 in a week, it's very well possible that you are right.
