Developer Naughty Dog announced via Twitter a new trailer for the upcoming PlayStation 4 exclusive, The Last of Us Part II, will be released tomorrow, May 6 at 7am PT / 10am ET.

Here is an overview of the game:

Five years after their dangerous journey across the post-pandemic United States, Ellie and Joel have settled down in Jackson, Wyoming. Living amongst a thriving community of survivors has allowed them peace and stability, despite the constant threat of the infected and other, more desperate survivors. When a violent event disrupts that peace, Ellie embarks on a relentless journey to carry out justice and find closure. As she hunts those responsible one by one, she is confronted with the devastating physical and emotional repercussions of her actions.

Key Features:

  • A Complex and Emotional Story – Experience the escalating moral conflicts created by Ellie’s relentless pursuit of vengeance. The cycle of violence left in her wake will challenge your notions of right versus wrong, good versus evil, and hero versus villain.

A Beautiful Yet Dangerous World – Set out on Ellie’s journey, taking her from the peaceful mountains and forests of Jackson to the lush, overgrown ruins of greater Seattle. Encounter new survivor groups, unfamiliar and treacherous environments, and terrifying evolutions of the infected. Brought to life by the latest iteration of the Naughty Dog engine, the deadly characters and world are more realistic and meticulously detailed than ever before.

  • Tense and Desperate Action-Survival Gameplay – New and evolved gameplay systems deliver upon the life-or-death stakes of Ellie’s journey through the hostile world. Feel her desperate struggle for survival through improved features such as high-intensity melee combat, fluid movement, and dynamic stealth. A broad variety

The Last of Us Part II will launch for the PlayStation 4 on June 19.

thats good, i need to shut all this agenda crap and so on that's been going around out of my mind. People really need ot give this game chance before they ruin it for themselves, if it's not too late already. It's all in the damm mind.

Stay off youtube! Youtube throws spoiler thumbnails in your face for videogames. I'm not going on youtube until I beat TLoU2. I learned my lesson when youtube spoiled two other games for me. Jackasses on there put serious plot points for videogames in the title, and thumbnail of videos. A typical example would be : VADER IS LUKE"S FATHER IN THIS NEW GAME WUT X_X!

To be honest, what i saw got me more hyped, especially all the unnecessary hate the naughtydog team got for a non released game.

Now this should be interesting. The trailer itself and it's content of course, but I'm looking forward to seeing how the comments section and voting plays out. I have a feeling...looks around...It's gonna be a gigantic shit-show on that front. Assuming they aren't turned off to begin with.

I'm sure they'll have the comments section disabled. I don't think they can turn off the voting though lol

Surprisingly they left the comments on, and it's what you'd expect. It will be interesting to see if this is just a case of the unhappy being more vocal or if it will actually have a meaningful impact on sales and such.

I stupidly read the spoilers and kind of ruined the game for myself. I still want to play it but I'm not in any rush now.

They shouldn't cower out.

I think in this case they should have blocked the comments. Not to "cower out" but just so people who don't want to be spoiled and may not know spoilers are out their don't accidentally get spoiled.

I agree. They should've disabled the comments to prevent accidental spoilers. I'm surprised they didn't.

Will they put the whole leak on the trailer? Joking. Looking forward to it.
