Bastion is great, while Transistor didn't appeal to me.

I didn't like either, honestly. I would get Salt and Sanctuary instead.

Or Hyper Light Drifter.

If you're limited to one then bastion is a pretty awesome title if you've never played it before, that said hyper light is also meant to be great but I've not played it personally.....

Do what I do, wait a couple of weeks and buy them all as they go on offer, that way I end up having tons on games to play, just a few weeks after launch, will put it like this, bastion is already around a decade old, will it matter all that much if you play it a month or so later at this stage.

Excellent suggestions. If worse comes to worse, I'll flip a coin or roll a die or something.

Wow, I was just thinking the other day that I wished they would port Bastion. It's something I always wanted to play, but my PC was too crap to play anything but the most basic flash games. Definitely getting this at some point.
