NieR Automata Sells an Estimated 345K Units First Week at Retail - Sales

First week sales in Japan can be viewed on the VGChartz Japan Weekly Chart for the week ending February 26, while first week sales in the west can be viewed on the VGChartz Global Weekly Chart for the week ending March 11.
Breaking down the sales by region, the game sold best in Japan with 192,504 units sold (56%), compared to 64,611 units sold in the US (19%) and 56,118 units sold in Europe (16%). Looking more closely at Europe, the game sold an estimated 7,938 units in the UK, 11,057 units in Germany, and 9,673 units in France.
NieR Automata released for the PlayStation 4 in Japan om February 23, in North America on March 7 and in Europe on March 10.

Amazing game that should have sold more, however if they added co-op from the start to this game, I guarantee sales would double. It would be fun going around slaying robots with friends.
