Grand Theft Auto V for PC Pushes Digital Sales Over $1 Billion in the US - News
by William D'Angelo , posted on 14 May 2015 / 4,049 ViewsThe PC version of Grand Theft Auto V helped push US digital game revenue over $1 billion in April, according to research firm Superdata. The game was downloaded more than 441,000 times in the US alone.

"Judging from earnings reports released by several of the publicly-traded publishers, it is clear that their transition to digital is well underway and, in some cases, is keeping their traditional publishing business afloat," said Superdata CEO Joost van Dreunen.
Mobile game revenue increased 13 percent year-over-year to $380 million. However, social games continue to drop, with each user paying less than $40 for the first time since November. Pay-to-play MMOs have also dropped 18 percent.

Great numbers for a really good game. GTAV plays great and looks amazing on PC. Its really impressive and kudos to rockstar for a great port.
But I thought PC gaming was only for MMO's and F2P games?, at least that's what I'm constantly told in the forums.
only $1 billion? heh
Why are we pretending like 441k is an impressive number? This is game that has sold 20 million in the USA alone on consoles.
Nice bias....
You're ignoring the fact that people will have bought hard copies and that it has only been out for a few weeks.
