The PlayStation All-Stars are back and this time, they're going mobile! Sony has announced PlayStation All-Stars Island, part-game, part-marketing partnership with the Coca-Cola Zero brand. The game offers four playable characters (Sackboy, Nathan Drake, Cole MacGrath and Kat) with others (Jak, Daxter, Ratchet and Clank) appearing during bonus moves.

The game itself appears to have many similarities to one of mobile gaming's biggest titles: Temple Run. According to an FAQ of the game, "The ‘All-Stars Island’ is a fictional, fantasy island that has been created to host the best and most exciting characters from PlayStation games. The Island is divided into 4 zones, with each zone representing one franchise (Uncharted, LBP Karting, inFAMOUS and Gravity Rush) and containing a mini game...Players are tasked with collecting Coke Zero orbs that are used to unlock special Coke Zero ‘MAKE IT POSSIBLE’ moves."

PlayStation All-Stars Island is being developed by Zoink Games, whose sparse history of games includes The Kore GangIsland represents a stark change for the series, which initially debuted as a Smash Bros. inspired fighting game last year.

PlayStation All-Stars Island will be available this summer. You can check out more screenshots of the game here, here, and here, and you can read the full FAQ in the first post of this NeoGAF thread.
