Child of Eden Gets June 14 Release Date for Xbox 360

Have you been looking for that "hardcore" killer app to finally convince you to pick up a Kinect? You won't have to wait much longer.

Child of Eden, the spiritual successor to Rez by Tetsuya Mizuguchi, was first revealed at E3 2010's Ubisoft press conference and made people say things like, "Why wasn't this revealed at the Kinect unveiling?! This looks AMAZING! I need a Kinect right now!"

Well, it's finally coming to the Xbox 360 on June 14, with a Move-compatible PS3 version to be detailed "later."

If you're still not sold on motion gaming, however, you're in luck: it's also been previously revealed that you can play Child of Eden with a good ol' fashioned standard controller. This June, everyone can play! Wooooooo! Please note my excitement; it's palpable.

they said they were going to have a Move version months ago, where the hell have some of you people been. GI and EGM confirmed this in their mags from last year. I dont think the game was ever annouced as 360 exclusive TBH

no point..well i'll get for Ps3.

I saw the demo at PAX East with Kinect, and it tells me that the controls are actually pretty well done. Not sure why Move fans are convinced it's definitive, or even existent. Move compatibility hasn't been confirmed for the PS3 release yet...

These spammers are SERIOUSLY ruining my enjoyment of VGC

D-Joe (on 13 March 2011)

never saw UBI said this game support MOVE

halil23 (on 13 March 2011)

If anyone played Rez, then they would understand the ps move is the way to go. Unlike Wandamaximoff, who has no idea what he's saying... >_>

If this works well with kinect then I will start preaching Kinect to my friends. If not, I'll just get the PS3 version.

chocoloco (on 13 March 2011)

Hmmm. Considering its not exclusive I can still not decide if I should get move or kinect first. Better do some more research on this game.

Wandamaximoff (on 13 March 2011)

definitive and playstation move do not go together dude. maybe the LIMITED eddition playstation move version coz no one actualy has move lol

halil23 (on 13 March 2011)

I'll just wait a little extra for the definitive ps3 move version, thanks!
