Howard Glitch is a YouTube Game; Makes You Question Reality

by VGChartz Staff, posted on 31 August 2010 / 2,125 Views

Heavy Rain did something like this back in February, but this is a little different - this is original and YouTube-exclusive.  Howard Glitch is, according to the YouTube description, "an interactive point 'n click 'n escape reality game."  You are a passenger on a space shuttle on a crash course, and you use the link buttons in the video to make decisions for survival based on logic and your own curiosity.

It's quite surreal, and an interesting way to create an emotional connection with a YouTube video.  It's almost a Choose-Your-Own Adventure book (and you'll be hitting the Back button a few times too... I know you kept your finger between the pages when you weren't sure of a decision to "sneak past the dragon!").    Try the game here, or check out the trippy trailer below.

Went back and got every ending. Awesome sauce. Only happy with one of the endings though.

I actually bought the first Choose Your Own Adventure book off eBay. The Cave of Time by Edward Packard. It's still awesome. Packard was the best. I also got another one by him, Through the Black Hole. Also awesome. Anyway, this Howard Glitch looks and sounds awesome, and I'm loving the idea, but I can't get anywhere! Can anybody pass the 3rd screen?
