Sword & Play Sells 1.5m Units - News

Capybara Games' Superbrothers: Sword & Sworcery EP has managed to sell more than 1.5 million units. The title was first released for the iPad in March 2011. The game has since been released for the Android, PC, Mac and Linux.

For the iOS the titles has managed to sell 550,000 units or about one third of the total sales. 34 percent of the total sales were sold in the Humble Bundle 5, while 26 percent were sold for the Android. Finally seven percent of the units sold were for Steam.

The iOS version has been by far the the most profitable platform with 55 percent of the revenue for the title. Steam account for the next largest chunk with 19 percent of the revenue, the Humble Bundle 5 with 16 percent and Android with nine percent.
