It was neck and neck one year ago, and now it's 2.2m behind. 2023 was a disaster.
Hope 2024 is better but I don’t think so
It will be if they can secure Palworld as a PC and Xbox exclusive.
And if they can release more Xbox only exclusives.
Oh wow I actually thought palworld was on PlayStation also
It is not. It is only on PC and Xbox Series X/S.
Palworld is still in it's beta phase.
Oh from all the articles I was thinking that the game was in it's final state.
I don't think Palworld is long for this world. It's already deflating and the developer behind it doesn't have the resources to keep it going. Namely push out content, keep cheaters at bay, etc, etc.
All games deflate. The rest is understandable given it was made by two people who knew nothing about coding. Microsoft is trying to help them server-wise.
Palworld is possibly the last reason why I'd see people buying up a console for. It's neat for those on Gamepass but that's about it
Let's just look at this.
Those sales number have fallen off a cliff.
Series X|S is a two SKU product line with the Series S being a budget price console. Even with a two SKU product line, Microsoft are looking at these sorts of poor results.
X|S is dead in Europe now. Xbox is pretty much just an American only brand, and I can't see that being sustainable with their current business model.
Microsoft have no choice but to go 3rd party because now Game Pass numbers have flatlined, they are going to have to release their games on Sony and Nintendo machines just to have a viable business.
From these charts he Xbox series has always sold better than Xbox one throughout the year up until the holidays. Holiday time is when Xbox one kicks it's ass. Will be interesting to see how they both sell throughout this year before the holidays.
