Publisher and developer Mintrocket announced Dave the Diver has sold over three million units worldwide.

"3 million global sales of Dave the Diver!," said Mintrocket. "Thank you so much for the support and love!"

Dave the Diver released for PC via Steam in June 2023 and for the Nintendo Switch in October 2023.

There have been plenty of successful indie games before services came around. There is no denying these services help many indie studios and games find an audience though.
