Switch Dominates Japanese Charts with 145,000 Units Sold, PS5 Sold 40,459 Units - Sales

Momotaro Dentetsu: Showa, Heisei, Reiwa mo Teiban! (NS) has remained in firston the retail charts in Japan with sales of 126,729 units, according to Famitsu for the week ending November 29.

Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity (NS) remains in second place with sales of 40,667 units. Ring Fit Adventure (NS) is in third with sales of 36,019 units. Animal Crossing: New Horizons (NS) is in fourth with sales of 35,389 units. Pikmin 3 Deluxe (NS) is in fifth with sales of 21,314 units.

Nine of the top 10 games are for the Nintendo Switch, while one is for the PlayStation 4.

The Nintendo Switch was the best-selling platform with 145,178 units sold. The PlayStation 5 sold 40,459 units, the PlayStation 4 sold 3,644 units, the Xbox Series X|S sold 3,593 units, the 3DS sold 520 units, and the Xbox One sold 32 units. It should be noted that PS5 and Xbox Series X|S sales are almost identical to the previous week where they sold 42,891 and 3,684 units, respectively.

The population of Japan hate games from the USA and the Western World. That's the reason why Nintendo is sucsessfull in Japan and Call of Duty, Ac Valhalla and watch dogs not.
