Leyou purchased 81.25% of SNK’s stock for $63.5 million, thus giving them a clear majority stake over SNK Playmore.

A key reason for Leyou Technologies' purchase of SNK is its wealth of IP and characters, which the company now hopes to expand into various different types of media including games, anime, manga, and television.
