@Silver-Tiger, I doubt it will change much of anything. They will see this as an anomaly, and the fact that Mickey Mouse is one of the most recognizable characters in existence.

WOW Epic Mickey 250k first week much in Americas?

Great for Skyward Sword, still rising without any release date.

But Pokemon is the msot impressive. No release date but big preorders.

Glad to see Epic Mickey to high. that should show devs that a good made 3rd party game DOES sell on the Wii. contrary to the belief of most devs/gamers.

I think Epic Mickey will open to less than its final preorders just like Just Dance 2 earlier.

@cleric20, how do you know it didn't? I would be pretty surprised then.

Looks like Epic Mikeymight get more love in the US than in the UK where it did not even make the top 40 in opening week... seems the UK were crazed by GT5 fever with it taking pole position in the charts above Blops and ACB,

Looks as though Epic Mickey could be a hit. No Halo of course but you wouldn't expect those sort of sales, but this is definitely one of if not "the" strongest preorder on wii for a 3rd party product. Hey vgchartz, are you able to tell us a comparison of preorders for other 3rd party wii games?
