The sixth mainline entry in The Elder Scrolls is reportedly titled The Elder Scrolls VI: Sentinel, according to sources familiar with Bethesda's plans speaking with The Verge.

The sources also claim Xbox could unveil the name as soon as next month, which would be the 25th anniversary of the original Xbox and the 15th anniversary of The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim.

Xbox CEO Asha Sharma was given a live playthrough of The Elder Scrolls VI: Sentinel in August. "Live playthrough of The Elder Scrolls VI: ******** this morning," she said at the time. "The scale and grandeur are incredible. The story is even greater."

The report from The Verge also claims the game will be set in the province of Hammerfell and it will be the first game about the history of the Elder Scrolls.

I believe this name was rumoured a good while ago already, so I guess this is supporting those earlier rumours then.

I bet the budget is less than former entries. It is going on GP after all, although I guess micro transactions will be prevalent.
