Only 7.1 Million units to go until Switch overtakes XB1!

  • +7

At the current speed of both consoles, it would take about 32 weeks to overtake the XBO. So the Switch will gobble up the XBO during the holidays like a Pacman

  • +3

Yep. XB1 only sold about 3.2 million last holiday quarter, while Switch sold about 8.2 million. Even if we were to assume that 2018 holiday sales were to repeat themselves for both consoles, it would still mean the Switch gobbles up the XB1. In reality Switch will be massively up YoY, while XB1 will be slightly down YoY, this holiday season.

Might as well just call it 7 million, it's 7.037 to be exact. This holiday season is probably when the crossover will happen. Just a question of November or December now.

I would love to see predictions for PS4 EOL sales. I know its 3 years away but it will make it that much more interesting to see our predictions years from now.
