WB has finally lifted the veil on Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor. The title was announced last November with a teaser trailer and Game Informer feature, and while the concept was interesting, there was little to show how well any of it worked in practice.
Developer Monolith Productions promises a unique gameplay experience shaped by the player's behavior, with enemies changing based on choices and previous encounters. Shadow of Mordor appears to borrow heavily from elements of Assassin's Creed, with a focus on stealth, assassination, acrobatic navigation, and attack-and-counter combat.
