Electronic Arts has announced in its investors call, attended by MCVUK, that Dragon Age: Inquisition was BioWare's fastest selling game in its history, beating out its Mass Effect and Star Wars games.
"Dragon Age: Inquisition had by far the most successful launch in BioWare’s history, exceeding our expectations," said Electronic Arts CFO Blake Jorgensen.
Dragon Age: Inquisition was released for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and PC on November 18 in North America and November 21 in Europe.

Well deserved ... The game is amazing IMO ...
Agreed. I ended up putting in just under 140 hours.
Being on 4 platforms for the first time in probably for ever helped no doubt. Mass Effect 1 and 2 were only launched on 2 platforms initially. And Star Wars games have either been rubbish, or were published in the 6th Gen when Bioware was a strictly PC/Xbox publisher and hence denied itself access to the largest console install base by far.
But still good to see. As a fan of the series it gives me great confidence that we'll see extra content for this game and for sure a 4th main game in the series. And hopefully another animated movie and another web series. I love everything Dragon Age.
Yes, very well deserved. It's easily gotten the most playtime of my Xbox One games.
82 hours in and I'm loving it!
