Can you do a PSP vs 3DS?? Vita is dead and would rather have a more interesting comparison

GdaTyler (on 19 June 2014)

Yeah, I would like to see that. There's still a chance PSP might win when all is said and done. A small but possible chance...

Not 20 million more, 3DS got a 10 month head start.

E3 and the lack of 1st-part support and even the PlayStation TV isn't going to help it either. I think it won't be getting any better at all, not for the next few months because there isn't really anything new to buy one for or even coming out thanks to Sony's attitude of we will be doing less Vita games.

billie91 (on 20 June 2014)

Sony has killed the Vita by not supporting it with enough games. It is no wonder that the Vita is doing worse each time.

Thank you for the WiiU vs. XB1, was interesting. 3DS vs. PSP would be the next most interesting graph.

Glad to know that 3DS has the same sales trend currently compared to DS.

Every console except PS4 and X1 are doing worse than their predeccessor

DemoniOtaku (on 19 June 2014)

But sadly Vita is doing even worst than all of the others -.-.. Well, not worst than WiiU.

Xone sold 40-50K one week, 360 70-90K...

WiiU is doing better then Vita and if Mario Kart/Smash Bros/Wii Sports can hold up, it could do a lot better.

XB1 is only doing better then the 360 because 360 launched a year early AND XB1 had a very front-loaded launch.

I think this gen will be very similar to 6th gen. Only the PS4 wil surpass its predecessor. The market is smaller and it will shrink more.
