We don't even know digital sales but it's pretty much guaranteed that this game will sell 3 million plus lifetime, which is truly great considering it's tepid reception, pointlessness, no standard PS3 bundles and releasing the year of PS4's arrival. It should be around ~1.75m now. Will easily pass 2 million this year at retail, it's now available digitally so we don't know where it'll end up. 	JustThatGamer posted 07/09/2013, 01:13 As time goes by I've come to appreciate this game more, I guess I was just expecting too much from the SP when it was obvious the MP would have a negative impact on it, it's a good game worth buying. Also UNDERTRACKED. It was undertracked by 49K 1st month US (NPD), undertracked 161K by June in EU (GFK) which means the game's undertracked by an absolute minimum of 200K. Since the EU numbers are by the end of June we need to add 2 months of data to 0.47m & we don't know how undertracked it is in the US other than its 1st month so I bet it's undertracked by 350K+ . It should roughly be at ~1.70m by now, should definitely hit/pass 2 million by the end of the year and 3m+ lifetime which is really great for the weakest GoW on console in an unpopular genre and considering it was once called a massive flop by many. I wonder if this game will ever be updated, God of War 3 should be at 6 million (http://gamrconnect.vgchartz.com/thread.php?id=144437) by now (combined SKUs) but VGChartz still haven't update their numbers for it. The Parry mechanic has been trashed for a clunky replacement. The Rage system locks you out of your moves limiting your combat options. The dodging and the aiming are sometimes slow to respond; magic has been changed into a scripted quick time event instead of allowing you to attack at the same time. The Trials of Aclamedies arn't the problem; its the poor gameplay mechanics that over-complicate it. Why they changed such a simple formula is beyond me. It was fine the way it was. Since the EU numbers are by the end of June we need to add 2 months of data to 0.47m & we don't know how undertracked it is in the US other than its 1st month so I bet it's undertracked by 350K+ . It should roughly be at ~1.70m by now, should definitely hit/pass 2 million by the end of the year and 3m+ lifetime which is really great for the weakest GoW on console in an unpopular genre and considering it was once called a massive flop by many. The Parry mechanic has been trashed for a clunky replacement. The Rage system locks you out of your moves limiting your combat options. The dodging and the aiming are sometimes slow to respond; magic has been changed into a scripted quick time event instead of allowing you to attack at the same time. The Trials of Aclamedies arn't the problem; its the poor gameplay mechanics that over-complicate it. Why they changed such a simple formula is beyond me. It was fine the way it was.
