Dragon Quest VI: Realms of Revelation Debut Trailer Released - News
by Nicholas Taylor , posted on 06 January 2011 / 2,270 ViewsThe latest DS remake in the highly successful (domestically, at least) Dragon Quest-series is about to drop outside of Japan. The game, entitled Dragon Quest VI: Realms of Revelation, follows the DS remakes of Dragon Quest IV: Chapters of the Chosen and Dragon Quest V: Hand of the Heavenly Bride onto the Nintendo DS, effectively making the handheld the go-to console for anybody who has similar tastes to Japanese gamers, even moreso with the newest entry in the series being released earlier this year under the title of Dragon Quest IX: Sentinels of the Starry Skies.
Either way, if you've been enjoying your Dragon Questing lately, this will be sure to tide you over for many more hours. Check out the trailer below.
The game was originally released over in its homeland Japan back on January 28th of 2010, and is set to release in North America on February 14th, 2011. Truly a love letter to gamers. No European release date has been mentioned yet, but it is no doubt only a matter of time.

LordTheNightKnight, The DS version of Dragon Quest V is, in my opinion, the best RPG on the system and the best Dragon Quest game overall. It follows the life of the main character from childhood to adulthood; you can even bring his children into battle. Plus there are multiple women that the main character can choose to marry, each with different dialogue (and the game is VERY dialogue heavy in terms of the optional dialogue; probably over double the amount of dialogue of any other DS RPG). The characters are the best in the series in my opinion.
This trailer was actually released on the Nintendo Channel weeks ago.
I have VI and IX for the DS, VII on the PS1, and VIII on the PS2, so V and VI are next on my list.
This trailer is so old.
