"It's a pity that the Wii is doing relatively badly now of all times, when its software lineup is finally comparable to the HD systems"

There is no comparison possible. Quantity, quality and diversity are far bigger on PS3 or X360 than on Wii.

Moral of the Wii's recent fall

The industry was not ready for HD in 2006. It was ready by 2009 though.

It's a pity that the Wii is doing relatively badly now of all times, when its software lineup is finally comparable to the HD systems. As opposed to in 2008, when there were two big titles all year and it sold 24 million anyway. There is no justice.

@Munkeh111

Yes, maybe that is because of Move, but also because of the HD rising that is happening at this point of the generation. Wii lost the war in industry, it's losing the war in hardware sales and it'll lose the war in software sales. About the total results, I think that its first place in both hardware and software is threatened considering that the whole generation will last until 2016.

Is this PS3 boost due to Move, because that really doesn't make any sense, I still feel very confused about the PS3 being on top....

And great start for Fable III, I feared that it was coming in without any real attention, but it has done much better than I expected
