Resonance of Fate Release Date Confirmed for North America - News
by VGChartz Staff , posted on 13 February 2010 / 3,371 ViewsResonance of Fate, the result tri-Ace's first pairing with SEGA, has now a release date. And, as expected, it's very close to Final Fantasy XIII. How close? A week after. That's right, the game is releasing on March 16th in North America. Better be ready to finish Final Fantasy XIII in less than a week if you want to be free for tri-Ace's epic.

The game is releasing in Europe, for comparison, in March 24. It remains to be seen whether this game will be affected by the Final Fantasy XIII hype, or will ride on the wave of its release.

it releases a week after Final Fantasy and the day of God of War 3?...hahahahahahaha....this game will be forgotten(though I pre-ordered it)
Resonance of Fate, Final Fantasy XIII and God of War 3 within a week of each other? Greatest month in gaming history for me!
FFXIII in less than a month.
purchased, paycheck after FFXIII
people what does it matter? play ff13 for as long as u want then buy RoF when you're done its that easy. and chances are maybe you'll get it for less $$$
YES!!!!!
why couldnt they release in April or May??? theres like nothing comming out in those months. March is jam packed Sega!!!! get with the program!!!
@ loves2splooge: Judging by the games in your collection, you and the bargain bin are well aquainted.
I want this game more than FFXIII.
Very bad time for Resonance of Fate to be released. Thankfully for Sega, North America isn't anywhere as front-loaded as Japan. Jrpgs tend to do well at the bargain bin over here. Considering that I hate playing lengthy jrpgs (if Resonance of Fate was short-ish for a jrpg, I'd reconsider) during school semesters and with lots of great titles due for this summer, there's a good possibility I might not get to Resonance of Fate for awhile. I'll probably start FFXIII in late April/early May and see if I can squeeze some RoF time in before UFC 2010. But then there's Alan Wake and I may check that out. And Crackdown 2 probably won't be too far away.
The beauty of having a rental subscription is that I don't have to buy all this stuff but there's a little something called time that makes it very difficult to play all these games.
sorry tri ace but you release date will make your sale less due to FF13
should had way a little. sad sad sad.....
damn it's too close to GOW3!
i seldom buy 2 games within weeks of each other and it looks like i have to wait a bit before getting this game :(
Damn, how many games get released in March now? 500 ?
i want this game, wonder when i'll get it...
lets hope this wave of jrpgs doesnt mean a dry for the second half of the year. i love having a lot to choose from =P
wonder what titles could release next christmas? i'd hate a second christmas in a row with no jrpgs being released
so white knight chronicles, star ocean 4, last rebellion, ff13, and then resonance of fate, wow, jrpg gamers got what they wanted i guess.
Jeez , too many JRPGs at once to play, i wish i had the time...
ya ima prob buy it duing the summer
Why not release it during Summer....
Hey I'm happy. I got four rpgs all within a month. I played the demo and it seems to be a good and totally different experience then from FFXIII. I don't think it should be a big deal they're in the same release window. GOWIII is too and ppl aren't saying FFXIII will hurt its sales or vice versa.
Wow, osn't this sort of overkill? I think gamers and companies would be much better served if the releases were more spread out into late spring or the summer.
