Rhythm Heaven Groove Tops the Japanese Charts, Switch 2 Sells 28K - Sales

Rhythm Heaven Groove (NS) has retaken first place on the retail charts in Japan with sales of 24,756 units, according to Famitsu for the week ending September 13, 2026. 

Gakkou de Atta Kowai Hanashi and Tsukikomori (NS) debuted in sixth place with sales of 3,683 units.

Romance of the Three Kingdoms XIV Complete Edition (NS) debuted in 10th place with sales of 2,797 units.

Onimusha: Way of the Sword (PS5) is in second place with sales of 19,654. The Switch 2 version is in fifth place with sales of 7,070 units.

Splatoon Raiders (NS2) is in third place with sales of 8,163 units and Tomodachi Life: Living the Dream (NS) is in fourth place with sales of 7,607 units.

Minecraft (NS) is in seventh place with sales of 3,324 units, Mario Kart World (NS2) is in eighth place with sales of 3,141 units, and Village in the Shade (NS2) is in ninth place with sales of 2,837 units.

The Nintendo Switch 2 was the best-selling platform with 28,341 units sold. The Switch 1 sold 7,559 units, the PlayStation 5 sold 7,494 units and the Xbox Series X|S sold 158 units.
