Nintendo Switch 2 and Switch 1 to Officially Launch in Indonesia in December 2026 - News

Nintendo announced it is officially entering the Indonesian market in December 2026 with the launch of the Nintendo Switch 2 and Nintendo Switch.

The price for either console was not announced by Nintendo. However, it should be revealed by the time it launches later this year.

The Pokemon Company and Nintendo did reveal a number of Pokémon games will be available at launch for the two consoles. This includes Pokémon Scarlet / Violet, Pokémon Legends: Z-A, Pokémon Pokopia, and Pokémon: Let's Go, Pikachu / Eevee. Pokémon Winds / Waves is also said to be launching in Indonesia the same day as the rest of the world.

Salim Group will be the official distributor of Nintendo products in Indonesia. The Nintendo eShop will launch at a later date.

There are reports Nitnendo will also working to launch the Nintendo Switch in India in February or March 2027 for around Rs 20,000 ($208 USD). Redington is likely the distribution partner.

It should be noted the Nintendo Switch has been available to purchase countries it never officially released in via the grey market.
