Microsoft has announced the Xbox Series X – Forza Horizon 5 Bundle for $559.
The bundle includes an Xbox Series X, a wireless Xbox controller, and the premium edition of Forza Horizon 5. The premium edition of the racing game includes the Hot Wheels Expansion, VIP Pass, Car Pass, Welcome Pack and a second expansion when available.
The Xbox Series X – Forza Horizon 5 Bundle will release this week in the US, Canada, and select markets in Asia. It will be available later this month in Europe, Latin America, and other regions.

GT is a simulator ( some call simcade) on close tracks.
FH5 is 100% arcade racer on open tracks.
I would say FH5 isn't even a racing game. I rarely ever engage in races in it. I see it as a driving game that focuses on open-world exploration, with races being optional and only one of a great many things you can do.
I mean, if you drive around exploring, doing solo challenges, and searching for "barn finds", etc., how is that a racing game at that point?
It's a fair point. But still, there is racing enough, so It's a arcade racer on a open world sandbox.
FH is not an arcade racer - it splits the difference between FM's more sim-like stuff and a true arcade racer like NFS or Nintendo whatever. It's all in how you tune the driving model - you can get something fairly close to Motorsport, but even the most arcadey settings are not as far along as NFS or Burnout on the way over to Mario Kart.
There is racing to be had, for sure. But a platformer may have collectables aplenty, but not require you collect them. Does that make the game a collectables game? No, it's still a platformer.
The FH games are driving games, where races are one of many things you can do. I rarely if ever race in FH. Driving is a requirement in FH. Exploration is a requirement (even if you DO want to race, you first need to explore to unlock all the races).
Since the only requirements are driving and exploration, I think it's most properly described as an open-world driving game. The game has solo challenges, races, barn finds, and lots besides. Calling it a racing game is reductive, when the game is so much more than that and racing is optional.

Its closer to a simcade than an arcade racer especially since they added even more parts that make the cars handle better than they did in FH4.
Pretty good bundle. You're saving $40 on the premium edition of FH5.
$519.00 at most, if not free FH5 this late in the game

I was playing forza last night on gamepass and was a little pissed off. For a game released 21/22, you'd think you can buy cars that had already been released and available to the public up for 2 or 3 years. Instead they're locked behind the store. I have to pay to buy standard models and can't use ingame credit.
Not sure if gamepass version is a step down from the standard .
As far as Horizon games go 5 is actually the easiest to get all the cars from the car show relatively fast. You can get all the expensive ones in the auction house a lot cheaper than from the car show. What you also want to do is buy all the clothing items ASAP that way you will only get credits and cars from the wheelspins and buy the house that gets you a free daily regular wheelspin as soon as possible also. Forza Horizon 4 might be even easier at this point since you can get all the cars from the car show from the auction house for cheap and you can still exploit the 1982 Porsche 911 Turbo 3.3's skill tree to get two wheelspins and 300K credits you can buy it for 150K credits at the car show.
No I meant there are cars that you can only purchase from the store for real cash.
Well, I bought the Ultimate edition of Forza Horizon since the second game came out so the car you are talking about is part of the car pass or very unlikely a part of the first expansion all other cars have been free. All the other cars you can buy with in game currency in the car show or auction house.
pointless when can just get it on gamepass once own one
It seems that MS is trying to increase the price of the console slowly by doing old games bundles and putting premium editions of games that you can "save" compared if you buy it from the store.
Not really an old game since it still gets constant updates, and the second expansion hasn't released yet. Plus, there is a very good chance it will get a third expansion also since Forza Horizon 6 might not come out until 2025.
MS have already come out and said they won't be increasing the console price, this is just an optional bundle.
