I don't play it but apparently online interest in the game (as in Google trends) is 5 times larger than World of Warcraft which is pretty insane! Even if that isn't true it must be pretty popular regardless.

Well I doubt it has more active players than WoW but maybe people Google it more lol

SE does a good job of drumming up online searches by an ever increasing free to play level and scope update along with putting out new expansions pretty often.

If you are looking for something new and amazing in the MMO space then pass but if you love the grind and look forward to grinding your elemental level or resistance rank or whatever new easily metric for upgrade then you are in luck. And if you want to do all of this with a handful of FF nostalgia of its better days then this game really is for you.

TBH the game really isn't that bad especially the free stuff they offer now. If you are interested just play that and when you get done feel happy and just quit knowing the best content is behind you and not Infront of you

Sounds like there's a lot of FTP content. I'm working through my backlog right now but I'll probably try it on my PS5. Thanks for the heads up!
