Worldwide Hardware Estimates for Aug 30 to Sep 5 - Switch Sells 345K, PS4 Sells 131K, XOne Sells 20K - Sales

The Nintendo Switch was the best-selling console worldwide with 345,301 consoles sold for the week ending September 5, according to VGChartz estimates.
The PlayStation 4 was the second best-selling console with sales of 131,812 consoles sold. This was followed by the Xbox One with 20,157 units and the Nintendo 3DS with 3,603 units.
Nintendo Switch sales compared to the same week a year ago are up 95,981 units (38.50%). The PlayStation 4 is down 97,021 units (-42.40%), the Xbox One is down 32,836 units (-61.96%), and the 3DS is down 10,066 units (-73.64%).

@YanisFromFrance I don't see that happening friend. Sony PS2 is the best selling console ever to date. 155+ million sold. Nintendo Switch is a beast but I think its going to be difficult to do that. Sony when they don't mess up tend to outselll Nintendo and Microsoft every generation. If Nintendo releases their 4k Switch they can put the pressure on Sony and maybe it won't be easy for Sony to pull it off :D and the anticipation is extremely high with PS5. I saw article on CNET and Forbes that Sony PS5 is projected to outpace the Sony PS2 and outsell the Microsoft Series X and Nintendo Switch. Insane friend :O
Did you know what that Nintendo increased their switch production to 30 million and ppl saying it'll still not be enough by March 2021. Which is switchs 4th year
@Original I did not hear of that news, friend. That's very impressive for Nintendo very insane lol. Sony PS5 and Nintendo Switch will be at battle during next fiscal year and through out 2021. I can see Nintendo Switch selling 25-30 million next year and Sony PS5 selling 20-25 million next year if Sony can keep up with the PS5 demand. Nintendo Switch is entering it's 4th year and Sony PS5 will entering is infancy year. Sony PS4 is at the later parts of its life now and Microsoft is gearing up for Series X release. Nintendo and Sony battling the home console sales will be chaos for all :D!
