Dragon Ball FighterZ Sells an Estimated 555,081 Units First Week at Retail - Sales

The 2.5 fighting game from publisher Bandai Namco and developer Arc System Works - Dragon Ball FighterZ - sold 555,081 units first week at retail in the west, according to our estimates. First week sales can be viewed on the VGChartz Global Weekly Chart for the week ending January 27, 2018.

Breaking down the sales by platform, the game sold best on the PlayStation 4 with 417,775 units sold (75%), compared to 137,306 units sold on the Xbox One (25%). 

 

Breaking down the sales by region, the game sold best in the US with 234,333 units sold (42%), compared to 218,483 units sold in Europe (39%) and 449,856 units sold in the US (18%). Looking more closely at Europe, the game sold an estimated 16,981 units in the UK, 18,410 units in Germany, and 82,582 units in France.

Dragon Ball FighterZ released for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Windows PC worldwide on January 26. In Japan, it released later on February 1.

I would say that this game deserves better sales. A shame that has been overshadowed by Monster Hunter.

This game shipped 2 million units in just one week, and it's the fatest DBZ to do so, so there's that.

This is probably Arc system works best selling game. Even if it's published by Namco.

The best DBZ-Game (after Budokai 3) : )
2 friends and i play it every week on PS4. The sales figures are fantastic too, worldwide.
