The remastered collection of the BioShock series from Take-Two - BioShock: The Collection - sold 171,076 units first week at retail, according to our estimates. First week sales can be viewed on the VGChartz Global Weekly Chart for the week ending September 17.
Breaking down the sales by platform, the game sold best on the PlayStation 4 with 121,649 units sold (71%), compared to 49,427 units sold on the Xbox One (29%).
Breaking down the sales by region, the game sold best in Europe with 85,168 units sold (50%), compared 53,866 units sold in the US (31%). The game also sold 4,520 units in Japan (3%). Looking more closely at Europe, the game sold an estimated 25,262 units in the UK, 15,505 units in Germany, and 6,381 units in France.
BioShock: The Collection released for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One in North America on September 13 and in Europe on September 15, and for Windows PC worldwide on September 16.
