Long-time video game journalist Adam Sessler has announced his departure from his most recent position as Revision3 Editor-in-Chief and Executive Producer of games content after nearly two years with the company. Sessler confirmed this news via Tumblr in a post suggesting that his career in the industry will indeed continue, but behind the scenes.
"After some incredible achievements over the last year and a half, I am announcing my departure from Rev3 Games and Discovery Digital Networks. Sixteen years in front of the camera covering the video game industry has brought me to a point where I am ready and desiring to explore new opportunities. While I would never say no to doing one more review, interview or opinion piece, the time feels right to explore new avenues inside of gaming that help further the medium."
Sessler joined Revision3 in November 2012 after his lengthy 14 years as Editor-in-Chief of games network G4. He was initially approached by Revision3 Senior Vice President of Programming and Production Ryan Vance to lead the existing team of game commentators at Rev3 Games. Adam Sessler has been active in the video game industry for nearly 16 years and has had a significant positive impact on the video game industry.
