New Releases on Nintendo Downloads Services in Europe (10/20/11)

Two new games and a WiiWare demo were released today in Europe, the highlight of the week is Pyramids, the second third-party release for the 3DS eShop.

3DS eShop

Pyramids (Enjoy Gaming, €4/£3.60)

Pyramids is a puzzle/platform game where an explorer tries to escape from pyramids with his loot: a task that will not be easy.

There are many dangerous traps and monsters that will put your dexterity and ingenuity to the test.

The explorer can use TNT and a gun, but his best friend will be his shovel, which allows him to create and destroy blocks. These blocks can be used as stairs, as bridges, or for protection...

The explorer will venture through 54 challenging 3D levels, divided into 6 worlds.

DSiWare

Academy: Checkers (Gamelion, 500pts)

The world’s most famous two-player board game is joining our Academy. If there's no one around, skilful AI players will play you in three different difficulty modes over two Checkers variants: English Checkers and International Draughts. Compete in League Mode to prove that you're the Checkers Champ. Collect achievements and become a real Checkers Master!
