i never understand why ppl say that uncharted 3's preorder sales are dissapointing... uncharted 2 finished with 180K and 100K of those preorders came in the last 4 weeks...

sales2099 (on 11 October 2011)

Its probably because its the flagship title for PS3 this year yet it wont come nowhere close to Gears 3 numbers. Also theres the funny fact that a 10 year old game (Halo) will open bigger then Uncharted

Skyrim is huge as hell

oni-link (on 10 October 2011)

batman is a monster for it's second game. Zelda and U3 numbers could be hella of a lot better; but I think both will be slow burners and eventually reach at least double platinum (2M) in sales.

yahoocom1984 (on 10 October 2011)

Damn, looks like Modern warfare 3 PS3 version number will exceed Skyrim XBOX360 number next week

ArmGunar (on 10 October 2011)

Good numbers for U3 but a little bit disappointing ..

Pavolink (on 10 October 2011)

Well, at least Zelda is up...

So sad for Ratchet and Clank: All 4 one released in a crowded month.

demonfox13 (on 11 October 2011)

This is sad how many people order the same ol same ol of MW3 on the PS3 when you have the better FPS such as KZ3 and R3. Come on people take off your Activision retard goggles and buy the better experiences. Even Halo 3 deserves more sales than shitty COD. I would rather play Haze (yes I went there). I do hope BF3 dethrones these shitty COD games soon.

UnknownFact (on 11 October 2011)

It's interesting to see the downforce effect of Resistance 3 and Killzone 3 on Modern Warfare 3's preorders. I see this as a positive force, since it means that people be playing different games and having different experiences.

Forza 4 has low pre orders but i still think it will sell a decent amount of copies. ME3 has some nice pre order totals as well as Skyrim it might reach 1 million on xbox alone

Kizmi (on 16 October 2011)

Driving games have loooong legs. FM2, FM3 and GT5 have shown that.

Forza 4 didn't do quite as well as I was hoping.

jamesmarkus87 (on 10 October 2011)

Like its two predecessors, Forza 4 will have legs. Its sales will likely be around 4 million at this time next year.

mjk45 (on 10 October 2011)

the past two games have relied on heavy bundling forza 3 was sitting stalled at 2 mill when GT5 arrived then they increased bundling to counter GT5 's impact so it' depends on how effective that bundling was in attracting new players

Serious_frusting (on 11 October 2011)

I find it strange that 360 games get huge pre orders compared to the PS3 but the actual game sales are not that far apart

welshbloke (on 11 October 2011)

Where is COD MW3 for the PC I find it hard to believe that BF3 has outdone it...
