Assassin's Creed: Revelations to Come Bundled with Original Game

by Joseph Trotter, posted on 20 September 2011 / 2,353 Views

For those gamers lucky enough (or unlucky, depending how you look at it) to have (a) a PS3 and (b) never played the original Assassin's Creed, then this is their lucky day.

The first batch of Assassin's Creed: Revelations on the PS3 will come complete with a nice, shiny, new edition of Assassin's Creed to allow Creed novices to catch-up with the story arc of Altair, the hero of the original and co-star of Revelations.

Really, this is for the newbies, but is also a tasty little incentive for those who were un-decided about the game and want a little bit more value for their money, or simply want to re-discover what was a very good, but deeply flawed, debut of the popular series.

Or, you could get in early and go to a second-hand store where it has been sitting on the shelf for less than a fiver for several years. Realistically, if you really wanted it, you'd have got it ages ago anyway.

Still, free games should always be applauded, so here's to you Ubisoft!

Assassin's Creed: Revelations is released on 15th November for the PC, PS3 and Xbox 360.

X360 gamers do not need incentives to buy games. That's what we do.

Cool news. Is there any word on if the 1st game will be getting trophy support?

krizalidzero (on 20 September 2011)

I read it was confirmed that the game wouldn't.

Wow this is the second game to be doing this. BioShock Infinite is going to come with BioShock 1 for free on PS3. I like this new trend!

Too bad this isn't seen more often (on games I actually want anyway).
