Randy Pitchford Comments on Borderlands 2 Rumours - News

According to a new report Borderlands 2 is in development. A source over at Eurogamer told them that the sequel would be released on PS3, 360, and PC next year.
While rumours about a Borderlands sequel have been rife for a long time now, would it really come as a surprise to anyone if the hit game wasn’t capitalized on? Let’s face it, there are plenty of people who want a Borderlands sequel and it was extremely well received. It’s just one huge profit waiting to happen.
We at gamrFeed decided to email Mr. Randy Pitchford, president and CEO of Gearbox Software, regarding this rumour. What did we get back? Well, this:
We've always said we love Borderlands and will do more. We have not announced anything.

borderlands was a decent game. highly over rated though. it needs to be longer, beating a game like that in 3 days is uncalled for. it needs much more replayablitly, give us some farming, more skills, farm for weapons, armor, shields, maybe even skills.... if its the same thing but a differnt story, i definatly will avoid it.

yea COD next yr how right is he! spot on. its nice to here there's a squeal to borderlands but i still prefure the original concept over the art style they changed it to.
