The inFamous Cole MacGrath Cameos in Street Fighter x Tekken

I suppose this was inevitable - Street Fighter x Tekken is getting an exclusive character for all Sony Computer Entertainment platforms, Cole McGrath, from inFamous and inFamous 2. The announcement came earlier today at an SCEA summit, where they talked about the exclusive content to the PS Vita, but later it was clarified that it's also for the PS3.
This comes as no surprise - Mortal Kombat celebrated Kratos as an exclusive character, and way back in Soul Calibur II we got Heihachi. Sony knows how to roll out exclusives to snag the buyer who's uncertain which console to get it for.
What I'm wondering, for the moment, is if this extends to both Street Fighter x Tekken and its counterpart, Tekken x Street Fighter. And if so, how will Cole change between each? How will each utilize his powers?
So far, a shaky gameplay video shows his super attack is his shockwave tornado, which can to rack up some vicious hits. An electrical 'bubble' can be tossed out as a burst pushaway special attack, and his lightning can lasso an airborne opponent as an anti-air, making him a scary character to approach. Little else is shown, but it's a game early in development, so much of this will be changed by next time we see it.
