Eroge mastermind Romeo Tanaka is updating the Japanese adult visual novel Cross Channel (which saw a PC release in 2003, a PS2 update in 2004, and a PSP port of the PS2 game last year in Japan with the new subtitle Of All People) with a 360 version. This 360 update of the PSP game, titled Cross Channel ~ In Memory of All People ~ will feature "original post-game scenarios, additional CG images, additional voice, and more over the PSP version." And what special edition pack-in has Cyber Front come up with to celebrate the game's March 31 release date in Japan?
Why of course. An electric massager.
It's not the first time this has been tried. Remember the Trance Vibrator that you could get with Rez on the PS2, the one that's even compatible with the 360 update Rez HD? This one kind of looks like a buoy, though, if you ask me, and the cross on it will make me feel like a sinner if I use it. Not sexy.
The limited edition with the bonus massager will run 9,240 yen ($112.12). I don't think there will be much of a "used game market" for these, so hit your import shops early! Will this see a U.S. release? Fingers crossed, but probably not. Here, enjoy the trailer that tells you nothing about the game instead:
