Media Create: Monster Hunter Portable 3rd at Top

Media Create sales charts for the first week of the year were released today. Like in previous weeks, since its December 1 release, Monster Hunter Portable 3rd topped the Media Create sales charts with 133,562 units sold last week. Donkey Kong Returns was located in the second spot with 66,551 units, followed by Wii Party that sold 53,144 units. Pokemon Black & White sold an additional 45,590 units and surpassed the five million units sold mark and was placed in the fourth spot.

From the top 20, 16 games are from Nintendo consoles, with nine titles from Wii and seven from DS. The chart is complemented with three PSP games and one PS3 game.

In hardware, all consoles had drops compared to previous week. PS3 topped the chart with 59,612 units, followed closely by Wii with 56,547 units in the second spot.

Oh wow, I guess the PSP is more supply constrained than I thought.

Wait, all consoles? I can see that the DSL and 360 are up. Even if you mean home consoles and aren't counting redesigns separately, the 360 is still up. It may be a figure not worth looking at, but technically it's still up.
