I thought MS wouldn't allow that level of violence with avatars.

Yeah definitely cannot use the stick for most other fighters which is what people should expect from all MK sticks. A not so bad set up is to use a "standard" horizontal layout stick and have the middle buttons (MP and MK on an SFIV stick for example) as being block and run. Or I guess you could have the lower left button be run, upper left button not be used and then map the other 6 to HP, LP, 2x block, HK, LK. Whatever floats your boat.

Yeah kind of boring it is only called Mortal Kombat. It doesn't replace the original. And I wouldn't be surprised if this one is actually worse, cheesier.

@ Hahelt18 Yeah, you and me both... I'm calling it MK9.... I like that the button layout is the MK one (it is mortal kombat, afterall) But, I can't really use the stick for other fighters... But, I can't really complain when the stick is MEANT for MK anyway... Oh well, I'll enjoy it anyway.

I'm annoyed they are calling it "Mortal Kombat". I don't care if it is a reboot. People are still going to have to specify which Mortal Kombat they are talking about when refering to the title...why not give it something official? Almost anything would be better than making us refer to it as "Mortal Kombat 2011" or "The new Mortal Kombat".

Uhh yeah that's the normal MK button layout, not sure why people say it is an abomination, that is 100% what I expected it to look like.

@KylieDog & PullusPardus I guess neither of you ever played MK in arcades back in the day. That's the button layout from an MK3 arcade cabinet. It probably won't work well for any other game...but for the few of us old school MK fans that stick is a Godsend.

That fight stick's buttons are shaped like an "X" , its pretty weird.

That fightstick is awful also, look at the button layout, honestly who designed that abomination.
