TGS 2010: Marvel vs. Capcom 3 Sees Two New Characters

The upcoming crossover fighter from Capcom, Marvel vs. Capcom 3: Fate of Two Worlds, has just gotten two more new characters confirmed. First off, we have a returning character on the Marvel side, who is pretty much a given since he is likely the biggest Marvel character of them all, perhaps only behind Wolverine, to comic book fans. It is, of course, the one and only Spider-Man.



As for Capcom's side, we get a brand new character who has gotten a lot of requests on the internet. Enter Albert Wesker, main antagonist of Capcom's flagship franchise Resident Evil. He joins his nemesis Chris in battle in Marvel vs. Capcom 3: Fate of Two Worlds, and we can't wait to see what the classic enmity between the two will bring to the game.



They're both joining a fairly large roster, which currently consists, besides the two guests of honour themselves of course, of the people you'll find listed below.

Spider-man is by far the biggest marvel character, he has more shows, games, movies, toys, etc than ANY other character. Spider-man is marvels flagship character and money maker and It's safe to say Iron man is number 2.

@ oniyide: Strange, but maybe they did that poll just after that wolverine movie came out and the character had ''momentum''. BTW, how much money did that movie make compared to Spiderman 3, the most succesfull of the 3 spidey flicks? not even close, huh? not even remotely? I thought so. It could also be that the fans (me included) are pissed at how much Ultimate Spiderman sucks when compared to the original ''the amazing spider-man'', but that ''perhaps only behind wolverine'' doesn't make any sense.

@VBI sorry to break it to you, but WIZARD did a whole fan poll thing some time ago and Wolverine was rated higher than Spidey, I dont think the whole OND thing helped either

"perhaps only behind Wolverine", lolwut? Spider-Man is Marvel's biggest character by miles and miles, and is easily comparable to Batman, the only other comic character anywhere who compares.
