New Games Added to PS3 Greatest Hits: KZ2, LBP, More!
by VGChartz Staff, posted on 02 April 2010 / 6,067 ViewsThe PS3 Greatest Hits Collection: because $60 is just too much money to spend on a game. Luckily, the angry red boxes also let everyone know that you didn't pay top dollar for your game collection. Frugal, or cheap? That's up to you to decide.
"Ghostmind" on NeoGAF - who apparently gets Sunday papers wayyyyyy too early - found this:

A leaked Walmart ad announcing additions to the Greatest Hits collection? Yay! Killzone 2, Resistance 2, inFAMOUS, LittleBigPlanet GOTY, and UFC 2009 Undisputed are rounding out the already solid Greatest Hits collection nicely (the other three titles in the ad - Uncharted, Ratchet & Clank: Tools of Destruction, and Gran Turismo 5 Prologue - were already red-bordered classics).
The funny part: every single one of these games besides Resistance 2 is already $30 at Walmart.com; the only difference is that there will be a red border on the boxes now. Pretty sneaky, Walmart. Anything for an excuse to re-advertise games for only 16 cents less than you're already selling them! Sales WILL increase.
Any games you've been waiting for the right moment to pick up? Because that moment is now.
OH! And as a bonus for you frugal PS3 owners, don't forget that you can pick up Metal Gear Solid 4 and Assassin's Creed II for $20 and $30, respectively, at GameStop's GameDays sale for the next few weeks. (And yes, you can get AC2 on 360 for $30, as well.) Don't go spending ALL your money, now... if you can!
