The tweet doesn't confirm what the title here says. It's being MADE exclusively for Xbox and PC, but what was said does NOT confirm the game will not be released on any other platforms at some point. That said, doesn't seem likely that it would end up anywhere else any time soon.

Seeing as they bought the studio behind the game... it's kind of a no-brainer. Also, I have issues with companies who use the term "exclusive" for a game that's on multiple systems. I don't care if one of those systems is a PC, it still counts.

To help you sleep easy I just confirmed the box numerous Xbox games say "console exclusive."

Erm it is exclusive. Its not available on any PC, it clearly states Windows PC and Xbox. I think your understanding on the term exclusive is wrong. Sounds like an exclusive product to me.

You may not like, but it have been like this for 2 gens and will be for a third now.

I was curious about confirmation on that. It also means Xbox One support is coming. I feel X1 support should continue for a couple years to grow and maintain Gamepass users.

The final product wont look that polished. Graphics can be scaled back to function on a base X1 even its at 720p.

It will be on X1, thats my prediction.

With your logic some Switch ports shouldnt exist.

Not that I was interested in this, i still don't see this as a good thing for xbox. Makes me more interested in PC than getting a 2nd console.

Pretty much all of their games will be coming to PC whether it be through Game Pass or any PC gaming client. Doesn't matter because MICROSOFT already showed us their hand at the end of this generation and they supposedly make more money selling it digitally than physically. I don't know how this is when they're forking out tons of cash for games like Control, Devil May Cry V and Metro Exodus to host their games on Game Pass platform.

@Mixster - I imagine it only cost a small fraction of their revenue to pay for those modest selling games. They are also only available to subscribers, not the entire userbase.

I think there is simply more revenue in support Xbox and PC. Xbox software hasnt really seen a decline from PC support either.

Its the same reason Sony keeps sharing games with PC. They see it as different market and there are many gamers who are exclusove to PC.

You could argue its only 3rd party games Sony allows on PC. Meanwhile PC users are playing 1st party games on PS Now.

Subscribed to game pass for a quid, unsubscribed less than 24 hours later. Great service, no split screen on halo and gears of war 4 would not run, absolutely stonking.

You think MS only paid itself for a year exclusivity? Its possible.

They do OWN the studio behind it now.

I'm absolutely gutted about this. I don't mind Exclusives its what sets the competition apart but for a game to start as a multiplat do everyone gets to play it then go exclusive for the rest of the story pisses me off. This was one of my favorite games and now I ain't gonna experience the rest of it.

You can experience it. What i dislike is when people act as if they dont have a choice. You can play it and if the game was that good for you, than you will make the plunge. Im sure you own a PC at the very least.

Play using game pass on PC if you want.

Was hyped for the first game but when I played it the game was boring in spots and not enough entertainment for myself to get the second game. The only really good thing was the graphics but there's more than just graphics. I cannot wait till this years E3 to see what we will be getting exclusively/console exclusive from MICROSOFT. A new Crimson Skies would be nice.

Are you serious? MS makes games for Xbox and Windows. You must know this, its unlikely there will be a console exclusive and that means more people will play their games.
