Next Atelier Game to be Announced Around May or June - News

Gust during a special Atelier Lydie & Suelle live stream revealed some information on the next Atelier title.
Gust producer Keisuke Kikuchi said the next game in the Atelier series will be announced around May or June and it will bring the series' 20th anniversary to an end.
The developer revealed it is also working on several other games outside of the Atelier series that are planned to release in 2018.
Producer Junzo Hosoi said "This is not the end" when Blue Reflection was brought up. He added that developments of some sorts for the series are being prepared, and that he will not betray the expectations of the fans.

I wonder how that will go. The anniversary celebrations are over but they never really affected the currently mutating gameplay trough nostalgia; and a new universe is about to start.
Blue Reflection also brought something really different from the -already diverse- usual Gust offering, and the cinematic direction was so good I hope it will, somehow, inspire the next Atelier series
