Sony is Still Developing 'Content' for the PlayStation Vita, Just Not AAA Titles - News
by William D'Angelo , posted on 29 October 2015 / 4,508 ViewsIt was widely reported last week that Sony had halted all first party development for the PlayStation Vita. However, that appears to not be the case.
Sony’s European boss Jim Ryan told VG24/7 that, while there are no triple-A first-party titles in development for the PlayStation Vita, Sony is still developing 'content' for the handheld.

"To clarify what was said about Vita, which was either misinterpreted or misreported: I think what was said was that we’re no longer in the business of triple-A development of games for Vita. But there is still first-party Vita content being worked upon," said Ryan.

I don't know. He said "content", not "games". They could very well be making some Vita apps, not games, and not contradict themselves with this statement.
I'm personally going with "this is them backtracking so that potential Vita sales don't suffer."
What sales?
50k on the front page the last week we have hardware up for., that's not too shabby.
What if Sony never stopped supporting it in the first place?... It could've been more successful than it is now....
More successful doesn't mean successful overall. Why should they continue investing in a failed platform when they have a platform like the PS4 on their hands that actually promises some decent ROI?

sony support the vita. it's a great console
The VITA sells more then Wii U most of the times and Sony has really made the PS Brand a good thing again. If they supported this it could still be successful but they dropped support like last year. Sure they are still doing some things but its too little too late. Which sucks because I love my Vita and still buy some games for it.
Add your comment...It's still doing "OK" It's still alive. Lots of new games coming If they would have even done what they did in Europe with Minecraft in North America, it could be shifting more units. The Duh-Duh level of stupidity of Sony's handling of the Vita is mind boggling. I still love it though. Over 60 games bought, and the PS plus games too.
That "content" was all over the paris press conference. "
Seriously, just get namco to localise Tales of innocence R and i dont care anymore. Havent expected much from you in a couple of years Sony.
Can they stop back peddling. Shesh.
