Phil Spencer: Next Rare Game is 'Uniquely Rare' - News

Xbox boss Phil Spencer had a chance to play Rare's new game and tweeted that the game is "uniquely Rare." This could be good news for old school Rare fans. The developer has developed nothing but Kinect titles in recent years.
"Got to play the new @RareLtd game today," said Spencer on Twitter. "Rare building a uniquely Rare game, as it should be. Great visit to the studio."
Microsoft did recently file a trademark for Rare's Battletoads. The game is a platformer that came out in 1991 for the NES, Sega Genesis, and many other platforms.

Banjo, or Conker clearly aren't the games that sadly means. If not one of those 2 I don't care. Screw battle toads, only one I liked was Battle Toads and Double Dragon on Super Nintendo. I remember I put like a year into that game trying to master it because it was hard as hell lol. Hated the others

Is there any hope still?They have rebranded themselves to a casual studio sometime ago.Even if they try to make a new game from one of their older franchices I don't believe that anyone thinks they can put out a respectable game.
