September 2014 is the 11th month of the Xbox One being on sale. The gap increased during the month when compared to the Xbox 360’s 11th month on sale. The gap increased by 230,228 units in favor of the Xbox One. The Xbox One currently leads by 1,034,488 units.
Both consoles launched in November. The Xbox 360 launched in November 2005, while the Xbox One launched in November 2013. The Xbox One has sold 5.79 million units in its first 11 months, while its predecessor the Xbox 360 sold 4.75 million units.

X1 might actually keep a pretty solid lead compared to the 360 for a year or two more at least :).
That's pretty encouraging.
I can only see the X1 maintaining a positive trend with Halo MCC's release.
Vgchartz has always favoured Xbone, and thats a shame... Am I the only one that realized that Xbone sale numbers are with a 100.000 plus error on the chart, cant people at vgchartz add numbers? xbone sold 79.000 not 179.000!!!
The one may not outsell the mighty PS4, but we shouldn't rule out more than 80 million lifetime sales which would be great.
