Overview

There are no games in the top 30 to be in its final week.

Two games have 200,000 or more pre-orders, up from one last week, and the top 13 has 100,000 or more pre-orders, the same as last week. No games added 20,000 or more pre-orders, down from one last week and one added 10,000 or more, down from three last week.

There are no games in the top 40 to be in its final week.

Major Performers in the U.S. – Week Ending January 25

Hardware and software sales are expected to continue to drop. However, the drop should be smaller than the previous week.

Other Hot Games – In Order of Release

Titanfall (XOne) added 6,593 pre-orders, down from 11,481 last week, for a total of 199,920. The PC version added 1,244 pre-orders, up from 1,143 last week, for a total of 58,594. The Xbox 360 version added 848 pre-orders, down from 2,350 last week, for a total of 52,081. The game is eight weeks away from launch in the USA, March 11, 2014.

inFamous Second Son - PlayStation 4

inFAMOUS: Second Son (PS4) added 5,706 pre-orders, down from 8,679 last week, for a total of 180,966. The game is nine weeks away from launch in the USA, March 21, 2014.

Notable mentions: Destiny (PS4) 3,516 pre-orders for a total of 217,141. Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII (PS3) added 7,176 pre-orders for a total of 167,010. Bravely Default: Flying Fairy (3DS) added 16,772 pre-orders for a total of 140,418.

Requests: Dying Light (XOne) added 1,253 pre-orders for a total of 34,875. Watch Dogs (WiiU) added 44 pre-orders for a total of 21,808. Super Smash Bros. U (WiiU) added 179 pre-orders for a total of 5,446.
