...and that's about it nothing too special.

Yes it looks better, yes there's more characters, yes the animations are smoother.  But that's the least you'd expect from a game that last full version was released on the PS2.

Disappointed but at the same time relieved that all characters are available from the outset. Disappointed as this can make game life longer, having to complete the game with each different character to unlock another.  However relieved as i genrally don't get round to it and i can still go throught the game with each different character.

Also disappointing is that you don't unlock the finishing video when completing Arcade mode.  Finishing videos are unlocked randomly through play.  It could be any character and you could be doing absolutely anything, then you'll get a message - 'you have unlocked...'

The new story mode where you begin as Lars seems alright, i haven't played it too much as the controlls are a bit iffy.  Changing target can be quite irrattic, making it frustrating and difficult.

Some levels have walls much like the ones in Tekken 4 (not so many in T5) and if your up against a human opponant, and they knock you into a wall, that could be the end of the round as it can be near impossible to get out of that situation.

Also if you'r going to put something like snow in a level, make sure it does more than just disappear when the character walks on it. Not really next-gen quality.

All in all it's not lost anything but it's really not gained much either when you think about the fact it's moved onto more powerful consoles.

Oh, not to mention MK did it without the help from Japan. SFIV and Tekken 6 both had Japans help and MK still came out on top. MK was always pretty popular...the movie even proved that compared to SF's.

Nahh, do the math guys. MK is the best-selling fighting franchise this gen across all platforms. PS3+360+PSV= well over 4 million. More than all of Tekken 6 combined and rightfully so. Last good Tekken was 5. Shame, too, considering TTT2 has such a killer soundtrack and visuals.

I will wait for Tekken 7 and Tekken X Street Fighter, to see if the series is back on track. I could not care less for Tekken Tag 2.

Indeed, it is the worst in the series. But it may reach 3M which is not a bad thing considering the crapfest and this console generation.

Also this game is looking to be the best selling fighting this generation and that is a complete BLASPHEMY!!!
